I was looking through my Photographs today, and came across this one.

Niagra Falls.

This has special memories for me.

Some of you may or may not know that I have been involved in Hosting Music Rooms In Yahoo, over these last 6 years.

During that time I met lots of people through Music.

One person "Lizzie" I met(not in person) but chatted many times. Unfortunately we lived so far from each other.

Lizzie arranged a "Chat Meet" for quite a number of regulars in the Music Room for a visit to Niagra Falls.

I could not go, too far for me to travel, but Lizzie kept me updated with lots of photos from that Chat Meet.

Sadly Lizzie passed away a couple of months ago, but she is still with me each time I see the Photos.

One thing I've learned for more than one year now about music room, it is like one community... there's joy, laughter, sadness, anger, hatred and even rumors. Some has passed away but memories of them will remain in the hearts of whom they have touched their lives.

That is a picture card perfect shot , Rachel.Yes i agree with Daffy about the many different people we meet on chat and the many different personalities . You must have many fond memories of Lizzie nd being joined 6 years have many wonderful memories of ones since past .. hugs friend thanks for sharing

Oh, how beautiful. This is one of my favorite places (you really ought to go, if ever you get the chance); I love standing on the platform by the falls, and walking behind the falls. I'm sorry you didn't get to go to the chat meet and see your friend, and I'm sorry that she died. What a nice memory you have, though.

This is touching (smiling)...yes it makes you realize that in fact you can meet very good ppl in chat....and they certainly make up for the not so nice ones....I have been avoiding rooms lately but maybe I give them another chance lol...who knows....big huggss to you

The Maid of the Mist! My first trip was in 1983 and the second in 1997. Last year I did the big wheel when I visited Ontario to meet with my friends. I also celebrated 25 years of friendship with my friend from Montreal who we visited the last week of our trip. Thanks for your wonderful photo and sharing your memories.

i grew up in the niagara area; last time there was mid february, following dad's funeral in welland...

blustery and cold, but many visitors to the falls

sorry for your loss, and not being able to visit, it really is as grand as the pictures show
